First episode of The Border War took us to the hot savannah of South Africa in the 90ties. The MILSIM reenacted clash of two companies of SADF army and FAPLA army in valley of Cuito Cuanavale.
More than 450 players attended from 13 countries in Europe. Around 120 Czech LARP players made great performance in the role of local slum people.
Both FAPLA and SADF forced fought massive battle over the local desert in order to gain control over the local diamond mines. UN forces vere trying to their best in order to protect the civilians from suffering from local conflict. Local tribes had at the end united and tried to claim independence from the local happenings. Mercenary units have tried in the same time profit as much as possible from the local situation.
